On September 13, 2016, HayPost CJSC launched the construction of 1801 Post Office in the urban community of Spitak, in the Armenian province of Lori.
The new Post Office is a symbol of the rebirth of the beautiful and thriving city of Spitak. With an investment of AMD 68.708.000, the project promoted by HayPost not only represents the reconstruction of a city that was completely destroyed by the terrible earthquake in 1988, but also represents the joint efforts to continue with the progressive development of Armenia and the future generations.
Totally new and built according to the latest modern standards, is equipped with security and computer systems.
The land where the construction was designed is located on 307 S. Avetisyan Street and covers a total area of 399.6 m2. It is a monolithic construction of one plant with reinforced concrete framework. The areas of the building include a customer service room, a corridor, a bathroom, an office, a file room and a safe room. In addition, according to the decision of HayPost’s Management, repair and maintenance work were carried out in the land adjacent to the building, including the memorial monument that is located in the area.
The new Post Office N 1801 was inaugurated and put into operation on December 18th, 2017 and works on Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 18.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 16.00.
As announced Managing Director of HayPost Trust Management B.V. Juan Pablo Gechidjian, this is the first big step of a more ambitious program designed for the city: “We are planning to build a new North Logistics Center of HayPost in Spitak to serve the provinces of Shirak and Lorri. We are deeply grateful for the engagement and support of the community of Spitak and believe that united we will be able to continue with the development of a stronger Armenia”.
